Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a school-based setting. This role is essential in supporting students with speech and language needs throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will work closely with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to implement therapy plans and assist students in achieving their communication goals. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct support to students in a K-12 environment.
  • Collaborating with educational staff to facilitate effective communication strategies.
  • Documenting student progress and reporting to supervising therapists.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in speech therapy. A valid Washington state license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting is required. Experience in a school setting is preferred.
