Job Summary

Ernest Health is seeking a skilled LPN LVN Travel Nurse to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with one recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment, enjoying local and non-local positions available. You will receive a competitive hourly rate in addition to a tax-free stipend (if applicable) and have the benefit of no pay cuts mid-contract. Additionally, you will be eligible for a referral bonus (up to $1000 per referral) and license reimbursement if traveling to a new state where a new license is required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical functions on the unit, including all aspects of patient care incorporating the nursing process in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act in assigned locations.
  • Ensure that the unit to which assigned functions in a smooth, organized, and efficient manner as directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Provide direct care and delegate and supervise all nursing care.
  • Manage patient care, improve quality of care, establish professional relationships, and utilize professional skills.
Qualifications
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting required.
  • Must be proficient in inserting, administering, and hydrating IV's.
Additional Qualifications
  • Medical/surgical experience preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
Requirements
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
  • Current, valid, and active driver's license required.

Per Federal Health Care Worker Vaccine Requirements, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be approved for a valid religious or medical exemption.
