Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Director to oversee the planning, organization, and control of plant operations and building renovations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and operations, with experience in managing budgets, staff, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and operations strategies to ensure timely completion of workload and adherence to facility standards and regulations.
  • Manage and ensure regulatory compliance with the Joint Commission, State Health Department, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including the utilities energy savings program.
  • Provide guidance, training, and motivation to staff.
  • Successfully provide effective client rapport.
  • Monitor work performance and prepare performance evaluations for personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years hospital engineering maintenance experience at Director or Assistant Director level required.
  • Experience in hospital project and construction management preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of the Joint Commission, NFPA, and other healthcare regulatory agencies.
