Our Client is in search of a CNC Milling Specialist with a minimum of 5-Axis Experience. The selected Candidate will be responsible for the Setup, Operation, and Adjustment of Machines with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines (Horizontal and/or Vertical).
2. Verify tool lengths, including the setting of tool geometries and offsets.
3. Set up and modify fixtures, as well as clamp fixtures and clamps as necessary.
4. Load and unload fixtures utilizing overhead cranes, slings, chains, etc.
5. Adjust offsets as required.
6. Produce conforming first piece products according to process drawings and quality specifications.
7. Meet specified quality standards.
8. Maintain tight tolerances on large 28+ parts.
9. Proficiently utilize a variety of manual gauges, including but not limited to swing gauges, calipers, and OD mics.
10. Adhere to specified health and safety standards.
11. Report any issues or concerns to Supervision immediately.
12. Collaborate within the designated workgroup to plan, prioritize, and execute work to meet customer and company needs.
13. Perform daily TPM activities as required.
14. Provide guidance and support to other team members as needed.
15. Foster a Zero Defects & Right First Time culture.
16. Suggest Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvements to management.
17. Provide Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) support.
18. Ensure parts are handled and protected appropriately to prevent damage during operations and movement.
19. Comply with any additional guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
20. Maintain company housekeeping standards.
21. Adhere to company Environmental Health & Safety Policies.
22. Perform other duties that correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility.
