Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist with Premier Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic radiographic procedures. You will work under the supervision of a licensed radiologist and utilize your knowledge of radiographic techniques to produce images of diagnostic quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform radiographic procedures on patients of all ages, adhering to established protocols and evaluating images for technical quality.
Obtain clinical history and data for correlation with the radiographic procedure.
Implement screening and safety measures in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures.
Prepare and administer contrast media to patients according to policy.
Practice sterile techniques and assist radiologists in special procedures and emergency situations.
Coordinate patient care with other areas to optimize patient time and satisfaction.
Assess learning needs and educate patients and families regarding procedures based on individual needs.
Maintain knowledge of emergency equipment locations and operation.
Follow radiation safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology preferred.
Current certification in radiologic technology from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
