Key Responsibilities:

As a RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the nursing personnel within a designated unit. Your role is crucial in guaranteeing the provision of high-quality care, promoting a supportive work atmosphere, and ensuring the health, comfort, and overall welfare of our residents.

  • Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals and support staff within the unit.
  • Design and execute care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to uphold quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident well-being.

Compensation

Up to USD $114,000.00 per year.

Qualifications for a Unit Manager include:

  • Valid nursing license in the state.
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity in a Long-Term Care environment preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with an interest in the needs of the elderly and chronically ill.
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
