Geosteering Geologist

Job Summary:

Columbine Logging is seeking a highly skilled Geosteering Geologist to join our team as a Geosteering Analyst. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in the interpretation of the E&P drilling process and provide exceptional technical advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret E&P drilling data to optimize well placement and trajectory
• Collaborate with clients to achieve drilling goals and objectives
• Provide technical advice on current and future projects
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of well site drilling operations and multiple basins
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of drilling projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or related field
• Prior experience using Star Steer software preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work Environment:

• 12-hour shifts
• Varying workload changes over a day or week shift
