Job Summary:
Columbine Logging is seeking a highly skilled Geosteering Geologist to join our team as a Geosteering Analyst. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in the interpretation of the E&P drilling process and provide exceptional technical advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret E&P drilling data to optimize well placement and trajectory
- Collaborate with clients to achieve drilling goals and objectives
- Provide technical advice on current and future projects
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of well site drilling operations and multiple basins
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of drilling projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or related field
- Prior experience using Star Steer software preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
- 12-hour shifts
- Varying workload changes over a day or week shift
- Team environment with opportunities for growth and development
