Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding tasks in various positions including flat, vertical, and overhead.
  • Utilize clamps and other tools to accurately fit work pieces together.
  • Inspect work pieces for any defects and measure them using calipers, straightedges, and templates to ensure they meet the required specifications.
  • Weld using a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
  • Assemble components through clamping, tack welding, heat bending, grinding, or bolting to achieve the desired configurations.
  • Maintain equipment functionality by adhering to operating instructions, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and understand welding symbols.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in welding light gauge sheet metal within a production setting.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 100 lbs.
