Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team and work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You'll be responsible for assisting physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a positive and safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including exercise programs, modalities, and other interventions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Contribute to a positive and safe work environment by maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to safety protocols
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting independence and self-care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve desired outcomes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in physical therapy assistance or related field preferred
  • Current certification as a physical therapy assistant (PTA) or eligible for certification
  • 1-2 years of experience as a PTA or related healthcare professional
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
