Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the University of Maryland Urgent Care Columbia location. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide urgent care services to patients across the lifespan, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive history and physical assessments for patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as needed.
- Establish medical diagnoses and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Design and implement educational programs for healthcare team members, promoting evidence-based practice standards.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Model exceptional customer service, demonstrating respect for all individuals and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
- Master of Science degree in Nursing with completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
- Registered and currently recorded with the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses and Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland.
- DEA and CDS eligibility.
- CPR and ACLS/BCLS certification.
- A minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse.
