Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Parx Casino. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms are clean, welcoming, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Dust and polish furniture, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Bathroom Sanitation: Ensure that bathrooms are sanitized and fully stocked with towels and toiletries.
  • Linens and Laundry: Change sheets, make beds, and ensure rooms have an adequate supply of fresh linens.
  • Trash and Recycling: Remove debris and trash from rooms and ensure that recycling is properly sorted.
  • Restocking and Supplies: Restock beverages and food items in rooms.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests, respond to inquiries, and communicate special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Maintenance and Reporting: Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Skills: Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills; strong attention to detail; ability to document and articulate information clearly.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk, bend, lift, kneel, stand, push, and pull during an 8-hour shift.
  • Availability: Ability to work a variety of shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
