Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Newton, Massachusetts.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with patient evaluations, management, and treatment during office visits
- Maintain patient records and charts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Prepare patients for procedures, including vital signs assessment and selected procedures
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patient care, adhering to infection control guidelines
- Support administrative tasks, such as scheduling follow-up tests and preparing patient records
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic life support certification (BLS) and CPR certification required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients and staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
