Job Summary

Williamsburg Landing, a CARF-accredited Life Plan Community, seeks Full-Time, Part-Time Plus, and Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to care for residents in the Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Job Duties
  • Assist in implementing individualized care plans that promote maximum independence, safety, and comfort for each resident.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Requirements
  • Valid certification as a Nurse Aide from the Commonwealth of Virginia and current CPR certification is required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
  • CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner) designation required within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with accepted methods and techniques necessary in providing optimal care.
  • Ability to regularly and safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds; Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Ability to use a variety of health care equipment, such as lifts, thermometer, and blood pressure cuff.
  • Prior applicable work experience preferred.
