Behavior Therapist

Total Care ABA is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT at Total Care ABA, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and support clients in reaching their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in various settings, such as home, school, or community.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection methods.
• Assist clients in acquiring and mastering skills across various domains, including communication, social interaction, self-help, and academic skills.
• Implement behavior management strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field is a plus.
• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
