Contract Duration: This is a hybrid contract role requiring 40 hours per week.

Role Summary:

The Retail Engagement and Marketing (REM) division is dedicated to the impeccable creation and execution of premier experiences and communications across various media and platforms. We are in search of a talented and self-motivated production designer who possesses a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering visually stunning designs. This individual will collaborate closely with design leads, creative teams, and marketing stakeholders to produce clear and aesthetically pleasing work for both internal and external initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist creative and design teams in executing projects, ensuring that all designs are pixel-perfect. Your collaborative skills will be essential in achieving superior project outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential design and production challenges related to localization, image adjustments, and quality assurance.
  • Plan and adapt designs for various digital and print formats, ensuring compatibility with different aspect ratios, languages, and geographical considerations.
  • Develop comprehensive production guidelines that outline design direction and specifications for both internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and resourcefulness in addressing project needs, enhancing workflows, tools, and processes to improve design and production efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with creative staff, vendors, and project managers to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Clearly articulate design concepts to senior creative and project management teams.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in production design within an agency or corporate graphic design setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the creative process, with exceptional design and production skills, ensuring high-quality output with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in mechanical production and skilled in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, with advanced capabilities in photo retouching and design software.
  • Experience in implementing creative design across various media.
  • Ability to work from sketches, rough layouts, and verbal instructions.
  • Capable of recognizing when to seek guidance from senior creative staff and open to constructive feedback.
  • Strong partnership skills, maintaining professionalism under tight deadlines and in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: The hourly pay for this position is competitive and may include benefits such as PTO, health and dental insurance, and 401(k) options based on service length and hours worked.
