Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an ICU setting and be certified in ACLS. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct ongoing assessments, tests, and patient response to procedural intervention.
- Participate in education and training of patient care team, family, and patient.
- Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition and implement and revise plan of care according to patient's status.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
- Respond to medical emergencies and alert appropriate team members.
- 2 years of critical care experience as an ICU nurse.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
- Current state-specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- May require CCRN certification.
