Foundry Cleaner

M&H Valve Company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Foundry Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our production areas, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of production areas, including sweeping and discarding dust and debris
• Operate tow motor, skid steer, sweeper, and related moving equipment to transport waste and product
• Notify supervisor of errors or equipment stoppage
• Clear equipment at end of operating run and review schedule to determine next assignment

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

Working Conditions:

• Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and vibration
• Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and risk of radiation
