Job Overview:

The University of Central Oklahoma's College of Business is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach various accounting courses. As an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students on a semester basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach introduction to principles of accounting, cost, individual taxation, business entity taxation, auditing, ethics, financial accounting, and other related accounting courses.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse student populations.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to promote academic success.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and academic programs.
Qualifications:
  • Possesses at least a master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Has excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Has current professional experience or current academic research in accounting/taxation.
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting with an emphasis in Taxation.
  • Professional certification in Accounting.
  • Online teaching experience.
