Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Universal Banker to join our team at Heartland Bank. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, building strong relationships, and promoting business growth through cross-selling and referrals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide efficient and accurate service to existing and prospective clients, addressing their individual needs and promoting business for the bank.
  • Transaction Execution: Execute a range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, initiating and finalizing account operations, and managing consumer product maintenance.
  • Cash Handling: Oversee and balance the allocated cash supply throughout the workday, maintaining and balancing the vault cash supply, and coordinating cash shipments and deliveries.
  • Sales and Cross-Selling: Foster and cultivate customer relationships through sales initiatives, leveraging industry and bank-specific product knowledge to promote business growth.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Complete essential daily, weekly, and monthly reporting obligations, adhering to established security protocols and safeguarding customer information.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of customer service, retail, and/or cash handling experience preferred.
  • Skills: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Internet Explorer, Chexsystems, ARTA, Encompass, Innovistar, ResourceOne, Premier Integrated Teller, Business Process Manager.
