Athletic Trainer II

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Trainer II to join our team at Endicott College. As a key member of our athletic training staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and prevention of athletic injuries to our varsity and club athletes.

• Provide Timely and Effective Evaluation and Care
  • Utilize a comprehensive appointment system to schedule treatment sessions for student-athletes.
  • Schedule regular meetings with coaching staff to discuss preventative measures, mobility, and recovery strategies.
  • Plan and present educational topics for staff in-services to enhance departmental knowledge and growth.
• Communicate Effectively with Stakeholders
  • Return voicemails and emails within 24 hours, providing a tentative plan of action as needed.
  • Arrange initial meetings with coaching staff to discuss effective communication strategies.
• Exercise Clinical Instruction and Mentorship
  • Attend annual preceptor training and complete required coursework.
  • Remain compliant with CAATE Standards and instruction provided by the ATEP clinical coordinator.
• Support Athletic Training Staff and Clinics
  • Document all injury evaluations, treatments, and rehabilitations on a weekly basis.
  • Complete continuing education requirements to maintain BOC certification.
  • Deliberate planning and assessment of skills and attainment of manual therapies.

• Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• Current BOC certification.
• Experience working with varsity and club athletes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
