The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records for both leased and state-owned properties, ensuring effective inventory and asset control, and managing the agency's tagging system.
This position also oversees warehouse operations, focusing on the storage and processing of assets. As a team leader, you will conduct physical inventories, audit results, and resolve discrepancies in asset records. You will prepare and review documentation for asset transfers and disposals, while also updating and maintaining property tracking systems. It is essential to keep a precise inventory of all assets, including surplus, obsolete, or damaged items. Additionally, you will coordinate the disposition of surplus property and generate reports on inventory status. Training agency staff on asset management policies, procedures, and inventory systems is also a key responsibility. Investigating lost, stolen, or damaged property items will be part of your duties. This role operates under general supervision, allowing for some initiative and independent judgment.Key Responsibilities:
Regular attendance and adherence to agency leave policies are expected, along with performing other assigned duties.
Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records for property purchases and disposals, along with managing inventory and asset control records.

Offer guidance on the use of financial asset management systems and assist users in generating standard property reports.
15%Conduct investigations for missing, lost, or stolen property, preparing detailed reports of findings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
