Job Summary:

As a Lead Diesel Technician at Haul USA, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet of trucks and trailers. This is a key role that requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle organization and tracking of purchase orders
• Organize the shop workload for the shop technicians
• Order parts for the shop
• Work with the Shop Service Manager on leadership tasks
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks and trailers
• Conduct DOT inspections per FMSCA guidelines

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Own necessary essential tools
• Technical or advanced degree or 5+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
• Ability to obtain a Class B license
• ASE Certification in 4 areas (preventative maintenance and brakes preferred)
