Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team at Walmart. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders under the direction of a Pharmacist.
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs.
  • Maintain confidential information and adhere to controlled medication procedures.
  • Ensure the accuracy of chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances.
  • Evaluate potential chemical interactions and side effects associated with prescribed medications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and promote products and services.
  • Operate equipment, such as cash registers and related tools, to process customer purchases.
  • Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
  • Maintain the pharmacy area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
