LPN PRN Nights MedSurg Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our MedSurg team on night shifts. As a LPN, you will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
  • Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care.
  • Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Incentives:

  • Experienced Nurse Sign on Bonus up to $20,000 for select departments and based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Preferred Education: LPN.
  • Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current LPN or RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
  • Certifications: Completes Hospital and required nursing competencies, mandatory in-services/MyEducation assignments and relevant certifications (ex. BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.) within required time frame.
