Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and guidelines for transmission and substation projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on transmission and substation design and construction
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with technical standards and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory agencies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in transmission and substation engineering
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including IEEE and NERC
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • PE (Professional Engineer) registration
  • Experience with design and construction of transmission and substation projects
  • Knowledge of energy management systems and smart grid technologies
