Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to assigned patients, adhering to hospital policies, professional standards, and physician orders.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned nursing personnel, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
- Act as a patient advocate, providing emotional comfort and support to patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating the patient's unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- One year of RN experience, with ICU experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
