Job Opportunity

Spur Staffing is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to fill substitute teacher positions for the Christian Montessori School in Huntersville, North Carolina. As a substitute teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with students and staff in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing lesson plans and activities to engage students
  • Assigning classwork and homework to promote student learning
  • Maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environment
  • Creating daily reports to communicate with classroom teachers
  • Taking attendance and tracking student progress
  • Setting up technology equipment to support instruction
  • Working on an on-call basis to meet the needs of the school
  • Prior experience working with children is preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 40 lbs.
