- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift: 12 hours
Requirements:
- Valid WI nursing license
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Med Surg
- Recent hospital experience is essential
- Trauma level II experience is mandatory
- Previous travel experience preferred
- BLS certification required
Charting Experience:
- Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus
Unit Specific Skills:
- Experience in Post Surgical Care Unit
- Ability to provide care for pre and post-surgical adults and geriatric patients
Unit Overview:
- Nurse to patient ratio: Day/PM 1:4 or 5, Nights 1:5-6
- Fast-paced environment with an average of 10-15 admissions daily
- High occupancy rate during the week (90-95%)
- Average length of stay: 2-3 days (excluding joints)
