Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Opportunity in New Hampshire

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at Archway Physician Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic care and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Perform diversified clinical duties in support of orthopedic practice, including physical diagnostic, medical history taking, and therapeutic procedures.
- Formulate an appropriate plan of care based on physical exam, patient history, and clinical findings, and collaborate with physicians as necessary.
- Conduct hospital rounds, submit orders, and evaluate and clarify clinical conditions.
- Participate in the facilitation/coordination of multidisciplinary resources needed for surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care.
- Communicate with referring specialists and providers, serving as an ambassador for the orthopedic department service lines.
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively with all members of the multi-disciplinary teams, particularly the rehabilitative services.
- Three years or more as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Orthopedic competency validation as evidenced through case volume; additional education, or partnership in an orthopedic practice required.
- Licensed by the State of NH as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Completion of a first assist program.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required, and must be maintained throughout employment.
