Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Nielsen Nissan of Denville. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with experience working with a variety of engines and diagnostic tools. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, work efficiently, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and transmission flushes.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to identify and repair vehicle problems.
• Manage paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure the work environment is clean and safe.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification from a trade or technical school in automotive or engineering.
• 3+ years of service technician experience.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
