Island Ambassador

At Tommy Bahama, we're seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Island Ambassador. As a key member of our hospitality team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, providing knowledge of our food, beer, wine, and spirits menus, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Deliver knowledge of our menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, adhering to our high standards of hospitality.
• Support your crew, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Current food handler's card and alcohol service certification as required by federal/state/local law.
• Meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service/hospitality.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently.
• Routine standing for duration of shift.
