Job Summary
This position is a critical component of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation service at the NJ VA Healthcare System's East Orange and Lyons Campuses. As Chief of Physiatry, you will play a key role in ensuring that all clinical rehabilitation services are provided in a timely and judicious manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Providing clinical care to patients with various conditions affecting mobility and activities of daily living.
  2. Managing scarce clinical resources to optimize patient mobility and functional independence.
  3. Developing and implementing standards of care to ensure compliance with accrediting and professional organizations.
  4. Functioning on a multidisciplinary team representing the PMRS in direct communication with executive leadership and other services.
