Job Summary

The City of Mansfield Texas is seeking a highly skilled Firefighter-Paramedic to join our team. As a Firefighter-Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services, fighting fires, and performing various rescue operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to patients
  • Fight fires and perform rescue operations
  • Operate fire apparatus and equipment
  • Participate in training exercises and drills
  • Perform daily inspections of fire apparatus and equipment
Requirements
  • Certified as Paramedic or Licensed Paramedic by the Department of State Health Services
  • Current Class B Texas Driver's License
  • High School graduate or GED
  • Basic Firefighter Certification or Certifiable by Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP)
Working Conditions

The Firefighter-Paramedic will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, hazardous materials, and physical demands. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment and to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public.
