We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care and support nursing staff in maintaining a safe and comfortable patient environment.
- Assist with vital signs, bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
- Help with feeding, toileting, and ambulating patients as needed.
- Participate in patient education and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
- Experience: Six months of experience in a healthcare-related field preferred.
Work Environment:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Christus Health, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment that values teamwork and patient-centered care. You will be exposed to various patient populations and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift patients and equipment, and work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
