Aveanna's Private Duty nurses provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, assisting with transitions from hospital to home and ensuring continuous care.
Responsibilities:- Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
- Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Documenting care provided in a compliant and timely manner
- Teaching and training family members on health promotion and disease management
- Communicating with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
