Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Engineer to join our Rail team, providing basic project design through CAD drafting, instructing drafters on design creation, and preparing project schedules for railroad bridges and supporting structures. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on Class I Railroad structures projects and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project design and drafting services for railroad bridges and supporting structures
  • Instruct drafters on design creation and project schedules
  • Research and write technical reports
  • Travel to job sites for observation and coordination

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience working with Railroad Structures
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well on a team and contribute to project success
  • Experience with software for modeling, calculation, automation, and rapid drafting
