POSITION SUMMARY
This is a Full-Time, Hourly position with a Performance-Based Bonus structure.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Mortgage Servicing Associate, you will be pivotal in fulfilling our daily objectives for our clients. We are in search of an ethical, detail-oriented, and organized professional in the mortgage servicing field who is dedicated to excellence and aligns with our core values. This role offers a significant opportunity to contribute as a vital team member, ensuring meticulous loan servicing and client satisfaction during a crucial phase of our growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promptly investigate and resolve inquiries to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and assess loan performance, including delinquencies and defaults.
- Conduct outbound calls as needed, managing collection and inquiry communications.
- Prepare, review, and send Reinstatement and Payoff Quotes.
- Evaluate loans nearing their Maturity date, capturing exit strategies or extension requests.
- Refer Non-Performing Loans to the Special Assets Division.
- Examine boarding files and loan documents to ensure accuracy in loan boarding.
- Execute responsibilities in accordance with specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and departmental metrics, while also taking on additional tasks as required.
- Stay updated on market changes and regulations pertinent to the role.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Uphold Conventus' commitment to fostering strong customer relationships through effective interactions, delivering high-quality service, and demonstrating comprehensive loan knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years in the mortgage or lending industry.
- Prior experience in loan servicing is required.
- Loss Mitigation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- A Bachelor's or technical degree is preferred but not essential.
