Accounting and Tax Service Specialist

Salary:$45,000 - $60,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, well-organized Accounting and Tax Services Associate to join our team. This individual will work closely with both the wealth and tax teams to provide high-level client service, resolve first-line issues, and ensure clients have a superior client experience with every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive atmosphere through leadership and communication
- Interact and problem solve with partners, team members, clients, and prospects
- Embrace conflict and provide solutions to problems that span operational and strategic levels
- Administration of QuickBooks including general ledger, bank reconciliation, and payroll
- Prepare individual and business tax returns
- Process payroll for clients and assist with quarterly/annual related filings
- Maintain the firm's documents including creating, filing, and purging physical and digital files
- Ensure sensitive and confidential information is handled and stored securely, following established procedures
- Client coaching and training regarding utilization of software for bookkeeping (QuickBooks Desktop and Online)
- Assist with managing CRM and client inquiries
- Assist with client drop off or pick up of tax returns including instruct clients on action steps
- Assist with answering/transferring calls and greeting clients/visitors with professionalism and courtesy while maintaining a friendly and composed demeanor
