We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Medical Support Specialist to join our team at ProMedica. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in northwest Ohio.

About the Job

\

This is a Per Diem position, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedules with possible Saturday events. You will work closely with medical professionals to assist with routine and specialized patient care tasks, including preparing patients for exams, documenting observations, and communicating effectively with families.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.\
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing supplies, and maintaining inventory.\
  • Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and other team members.\
\

What We're Looking For

  • A Medical Assistant training program or equivalent clinical experience.\
  • A certificate or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.\
  • Strong computer skills and effective communication abilities.\
  • The ability to maintain patient confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA guidelines, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.\
