Job Summary:
The MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society is seeking a highly skilled Physician - Gynecologist Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including outpatient GYN care, to all scheduled and limited walk-in patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide state-of-the-art local outpatient GYN care, including consult/referral review, triage, and forwarding/initiating of referrals/consults as clinically indicated.
- Manage the most effective delivery of care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment and care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide the highest level of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Completion of residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Benefits:

- Paid Time Off: Earn 1 hour of annual leave per each 10 in a pay status. Earn 1 hour of sick leave per each 20 in a pay status.
- Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.
- Free liability protection with tail coverage provided.
- No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting.
