Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, develop a plan of care, and implement and evaluate care.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
- Formulate a plan of care, revise the plan based on the patient's response to treatment, and regularly evaluate the plan for effectiveness.
- Consult and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate, and revise the plan of care to meet the patient's needs and goals.
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy.
- Delegate work appropriately to non-licensed staff in accordance with standards of practice.
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient care.
- Provide education materials to patients and families on care and treatments.
- Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Able to recognize cardiac rhythms – preferred.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred.
