Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments, develop a plan of care, and implement and evaluate care.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
  • Formulate a plan of care, revise the plan based on the patient's response to treatment, and regularly evaluate the plan for effectiveness.
  • Consult and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate, and revise the plan of care to meet the patient's needs and goals.
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy.
  • Delegate work appropriately to non-licensed staff in accordance with standards of practice.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative patient care.
  • Provide education materials to patients and families on care and treatments.
  • Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Able to recognize cardiac rhythms – preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred.
