We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at PeaceHealth in Ketchikan, Alaska.

**Job Overview**

This Full-Time, 0.90 FTE position requires night shifts and offers an estimated salary of $43,481 - $64,600 per year, depending on experience.

**Responsibilities**

This position involves providing respiratory care services, including diagnostic testing, oxygen and medication delivery, bronchial hygiene, arterial/capillary blood gas draw and analysis, advanced airway and life support. You will assess patients' conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses to treatments.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved Respiratory Care Program or approved alternative education;
  • Possess current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification;
  • Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS certification for staff conducting stress tests;
  • A minimum of two years of experience in acute care as a Respiratory Therapist, with ICU, Pediatrics, or Obstetrics experience preferred;
