Laboratory Professional

MidCoast Medical Center- Crockett is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Professional to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory department, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care services.

This is a full-time position working in our hospital lab department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory procedures and experience with blood bank, chemistry, hematology, immunology/serology, urinalysis, and limited microbiology.

• Perform efficient and accurate analysis of specimens processed in the clinical laboratory
• Work under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Director
• Maintain and perform routine quality control procedures

• Associate's Degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited college
• MT/MLT preferred ASCP/AMT/AAB registered, experience preferred
• Knowledge and skills to perform procedures in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Urinalysis, and Limited Microbiology

This department provides coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days/week including weekends and holidays. Generally scheduled 8-12 hour shifts. Schedules and work shifts may be changed with respect to patient procedure demands.
