SENIOR FINANCIAL ASSOCIATE

POSITION OVERVIEW
Singleton Schreiber, LLP is on the lookout for a meticulous and organized Senior Financial Associate to enhance our team.

COMPENSATION AND PERKS:

$33.00-$36.00/hour


Compensation will be determined based on various factors including location, skills, experience, and qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing payments related to client settlements across various categories
  • Managing and executing client payments and attorney compensation
  • Reviewing Client Settlement Distribution Agreements
  • Conducting audits on payments and attorney fee distributions
  • Collaborating with the Settlement Team regarding client payments
  • Organizing and maintaining accounting documentation
  • Assisting in month-end closing activities
  • Addressing internal and external inquiries related to client payments
  • Performing additional tasks to support the accounting division



QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational abilities and a capacity to adapt to evolving circumstances.

This individual should have experience in managing a financial information database and be adept at identifying and resolving issues promptly and effectively.


  • 2-3 years of experience in general accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and QuickBooks
  • Experience in a law firm setting (preferred)
  • A keen eye for enhancing efficiency and improving existing processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining organization
  • Exceptional administrative, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
  • A positive and enthusiastic team player
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Studies, or Economics
  • Full-time, Hybrid position (In Office 3 days per week)
