About the Role

This is a dynamic position that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying product deliveries, confirming product integrity, and processing invoices accurately. You will also be expected to adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with WFM quality goals. To excel in this role, you should have 12+ months retail experience and a strong understanding of distribution or receiving procedures. A passion for natural foods and the mission of Whole Foods Market is essential.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $23.50 - $28.80 Hourly. Responsibilities

The Warehouse Coordinator will perform a variety of tasks, including:
  • Verifying actual product against Purchase Orders and/or supplier paperwork.
  • Confirming product integrity and checking product temperatures as needed.
  • Stamps, initials, processes, and files invoices.
  • Distributes invoice copies to appropriate teams when applicable.
  • Follows Whole Foods Market Correct Pay Procedures.
  • Accurately closes purchase orders in the proprietary store purchasing application.
  • Adheres to and meets Receiving standards as outlined in Store Process.
  • Distributes copies of processed paperwork to Team mailboxes and regional office.
  • Follows up with vendors regarding accounts payable.
  • Supports product Teams with accounting processes during inventory and financial period close.
  • Distributes all store expense invoices to Store Leadership .

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • Strong knowledge of store receiving, accounting, and distribution procedures and policies.
  • Working knowledge and application of all WFM quality goals, food handling, safety, and other standards.
  • Ability to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm.
  • Knowledge and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and IRMA.
  • Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and Team Members.
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills.
