Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Possession of a valid Nurse Practitioner license issued by the state.
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure.
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required.
  • Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in family medicine.
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a Nurse Practitioner role; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly motivated with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Able to manage stress and work efficiently amidst interruptions.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting strict deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Occasional twisting, reaching, grasping, bending, pulling, and pushing.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous materials and infections.
  • Occasional requirement to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
