Company Overview

Avenues The World School is in search of passionate Volleyball Instructors to enhance our athletics program. Our coaches collaborate to design and execute a comprehensive sports curriculum tailored for Middle and Upper School students.

Role Overview

We seek committed instructors to guide student-athletes in essential skills, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning. The ideal candidate will foster values such as integrity, sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-assurance while striving for both individual and collective achievements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct on fundamental skills and game strategies
  • Oversee practice sessions and game preparations
  • Handle administrative responsibilities
  • Participate in all games, practices, meetings, and events

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience for head instructors
  • At least 1 year of coaching experience for assistant instructors
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • First Aid/CPR certification required
  • Familiarity with volleyball regulations and guidelines
  • Genuine enthusiasm and dedication to teaching
  • Capability to inspire and motivate student-athletes
  • Competitive playing background is advantageous

Open Positions

We have various coaching roles available for the upcoming volleyball season. Join us as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach for different teams.

Work Schedule

Instructors can anticipate working 6-10 hours weekly, attending practices and competitions. Practices are scheduled at various times, and instructors must be available for game days and travel with the team.

Compensation

This is a part-time, seasonal role with competitive compensation based on experience and coaching level. Instructors must be eligible to work in the United States and reside in the area during the season.
