Position Overview:

We are seeking a Consultant with expertise in enhancing and refining processes within business and IT frameworks. This role involves collaborating with a wide range of clients, from small enterprises to large corporations. The Consultant will engage with both internal teams and client stakeholders to analyze, develop, and optimize operational processes. This includes coordinating process development initiatives, mapping existing workflows, and leading change management strategies during execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage initiatives aimed at process enhancement within assigned projects.
  • Serve as the primary resource for project teams, supporting all aspects of process improvement. This includes process mapping, UML modeling, and flow design to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Create and deliver documentation and artifacts related to system and process improvements, such as process maps and standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee the implementation of recommended improvements in collaboration with clients, coordinating efforts with other consultants.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on business process fundamentals, UML modeling, Lean methodologies, and related areas.
  • Continuously develop knowledge in system and process improvement to support client objectives.
  • Conduct data analysis and develop metrics, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to assess current states and track progress during and after implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
  • Proven track record in analytical problem-solving.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
  • Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Capable of handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with client personnel.
  • Expertise in data analytics and KPI/dashboard development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ITIL and SDLC processes.
  • Understanding of tools and techniques for effective business process development and improvement.
  • Experience with Lean methodologies, Visual Controls, and process re-engineering.
  • Knowledge of industries such as utilities, construction, or healthcare.
  • Proficiency in process modeling and diagramming software.

UML Modeling Expertise:

  • Experience in structural modeling, including class, object, deployment, package, composite structure, and component diagrams.
  • Proficient in behavioral modeling, covering activity, interaction, and use case diagrams.
  • Knowledge of architectural modeling, which integrates both structural and behavioral elements.

Travel and Work Environment:

  • Opportunities for remote work, with occasional requirements for in-office presence and client travel.
