Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, interpret, and report data related to infectious diseases
  • Develop care plans for patients with infectious diseases
  • Consult with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals on infection control practices
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective infection control measures are in place
Requirements
  • Valid LPN license in the state of Missouri
  • Certification in infection control (CIC) preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in a public health environment, long-term care, or acute care setting with a focus on infection prevention and control
  • Current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR certification
  • IV certification
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a correctional environment
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
