Job Summary

Axia Women's Health is seeking a part-time Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team in Oak, PA and West Chester, PA offices.

Job Description

The successful candidate will perform ultrasounds on high-risk pregnancy patients under the direction of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in various fetal conditions and anomalies, as well as knowledge of contributing high-risk maternal factors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing diagnostic patient care services for routine and high-risk obstetrical cases using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.
  • Interacting with physicians and other technical staff to provide quality, safe, and efficient care for patients.
  • Following guidelines for probe handling and infection control.
  • Following examination protocols under the guidance of the physicians on duty.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Advanced knowledge in various fetal conditions and anomalies.
  • Knowledge of contributing high-risk maternal factors.
  • ARDMS certification(s) in ultrasound.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
